The duties and responsibilities for a Program Analyst, GS-0343-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: * Responds to data calls, metric reporting, or other scheduled reporting for real property, rent and space. * Provides policy instruction and guidance pertaining to real property inventories and annual rent budgets. * Maintains financial, real property and asset databases and other resources, such as program operating plans, or space management tools. * Interprets financial, real property or space utilization reports, statements, and data that point out trends, identify deviations from standards. * Designs and develops financial statements and other reports for management officials. * Monitors the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds in assigned areas through continuing dialogue with program officials and their staff, review of written documents, and examination of accounting records. * Determines fiscal budget requirements and controls expenditures.
To qualify for the position of Program Analyst, at GS-0343-13, you must meet the specialized experience listed below.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service defined as overseeing complex real property programs or operations, such as real property portfolio management, space management, rent or parking management; executing budget formulation and/or execution activities; conducting program reviews, audits, or internal control assessments; developing, interpreting and/or implementing policies, procedures or guidance AND utilizing a financial management system, such as UFMS or UAMS to input, adjust or analyze financial information.
