Veterans shape the future of energy As a Management and Program Analyst at the full performance level GS-13, you will: Serve as an advisor to analyze the efficiency of program operations and ensure key areas are aligned with mission requirements.
Provide support in the areas of budget planning and execution, funds tracking and allocation for assigned programs. Update databases and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy, support team tracking, and facilitate overall project management functions across the Division.
Act as the main point of contact for executive correspondence, training and travel requests and Telework/Remote Work agreements. Coordinate procurement and acquisition activities to include working with contracting representatives to monitor costs, contract deliverables and contractor performance.
Interpret policies, guidelines and laws to ensure staff and management are in compliance with local office procedures.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of the following 3: Providing guidance to staff members on a variety of administrative programs such as human capital management, performance management, training, travel, budgeting or contracting. Assisting with drafting correspondence and all internal/external communications.
Executing all projects, initiatives and action items from inception to completion. Limit your resume to no more than two (2) pages. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered "well qualified" you must (1) meet all of the requirements as described in this section; and 2) be rated "well-qualified", which is defined as having a score of 85 or better. You must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
