As a Program Analyst (Financial Program Analyst), GS-0343-12, your typical work assignments may include: Preparing recurring and ad hoc travel obligation and expenditures reports and provide monthly financial reporting and analysis report to the Budget Team to support budget planning, monitoring and decision making.
Providing support to improve the accuracy and completeness of requisition submissions, enhance compliance with procurement requirements and reduce processing delays. Compiling financial data and preparing variety of ad hoc and reoccurring reports to analyze and resolve reporting issues.
Working closely with the NLRB Ethics office, the Nonfederal Sponsors and travelers to coordinate and track reimbursement requests, reconcile expenses, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and reporting requirements.
All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT The ideal candidate for the Program Analyst (Financial Program Analyst) will have experience working with and analyzing travel reports.
Knowledge of travel policies and guidelines to ensure compliance throughout organizations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, senior level management, and colleagues; and strong analytical skills are desired.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, which has provided them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the Program Analyst (Financial Program Analyst) at the GS-12 grade level.
Specialized experience includes: Experience tracking travel requests through automated systems and responding to travel inquiries; and Experience updating and implementing travel policy; and Experience overseeing the requisitions process to ensure compliance with organizational and budget guidelines.
