The library of the Zurich University of Teacher Education is the leading pedagogical university library in Switzerland. On-site and virtually, it supplies, among others, lecturers, students, researchers, and continuing education participants of PH Zurich with current printed, electronic, and multimedia media. Our aim: completely satisfied users! Will you support us in this?

Do you have innovative ideas, are familiar with modern trends, and are well organised? Then we look forward to hearing from you! **From 1 August 2027**, we offer a diverse training position in the media world that gives you the chance to make our progressive library even more modern with your creativity.

This is what you will do.

* You competently support our users in media searches and assist with research

* You ensure that the library is always supplied with new media (analog and digital)

* You take care of the acquisition, cataloguing, equipment, and classification of media of all kinds

* You actively engage in project work and also take responsibility for your own projects

* Thanks to you, the library continues to develop and remains agile and modern at all times

* In external internships, you gain insight into other library fields (e.g. archive or public library)

* Secondary school leaving certificate level A; part-time vocational baccalaureate possible

* Good performance in general education and language subjects

* Interest in information technologies and electronic media

* Good comprehension, sense of order and systematics

* Networked thinking and agility in a changing professional field

* Communicative manner and enjoyment in dealing with people
