Direct the Center's comprehensive housekeeping, custodial, and environmental sanitation program.
Oversee the collection, handling, and removal of regulated, hazardous, and specialized waste.
Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to provide quality assurance for facility support contracts.
Supervise personnel in assessing contractor performance to ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Advise leadership on program operations, budget formulation, and resource requirements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with the planning, development, or evaluation of a comprehensive housekeeping, custodial, or environmental sanitation program within a large-scale institutional, commercial, or healthcare facility; assisting with the management of a program for the collection, handling, and removal of regulated, hazardous, or specialized waste; assisting with quality assurance for facility support contacts (such as custodial, grounds, pest control, or snow removal); ensuring strict compliance with environmental, safety, or sanitation regulations; and assisting with resource management and budget formulation.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
