SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will perform or advise on work concerned with the performance of functions such as formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, to include presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.

You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction.

You will ensure the financial statements and reports prepared by the Authorized Accounting Activity (AAA) accurately depict the status of financial resources and portray the results of operations in a manner that is meaningful to higher authority.

You will conduct a continuous review of accounting reports to improve their usefulness for budget and management purposes.

You will be responsible for the oversight of Obligation Validation Reviews and respond to data calls.

You will develop and enforce the accounting policy for all BSO 60 funded fleet units to ensure all fleet obligations are recorded and resolve billing issues.

To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience validating data and reports from various financial management systems to ensure accuracy and conformance with financial Improvement. Experience ensuring compliance with federal accounting, policy and Navy feeder systems.

Experience using the policies, regulations and guidelines of DODFMR providing accounting oversight in order to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans for funding/accounting relationships.
