The posting
You will serve as an expert analyst and advisor on military officer distribution, placement, and career management for the Information Warfare Community.
You will provide advice and assistance to leadership on strategy, governance, operations, risk management, and organizational change management.
You will initiate and manage projects, form and lead project teams, and develop new approaches to solve complex community distribution and placement issues.
You will analyze the operational impact of policy changes, develop courses of action, and build alliances to promote policy collaborations with stakeholders.
You will analyze metrics, prepare correspondence, and provide recommendations to leadership regarding program strengths, weaknesses, and required resources.
You will extract human resource data to build monthly manning slates, create personnel statistics, and prepare official correspondence.
You will evaluate annual budget inputs, identify key performance metrics, and monitor program execution to optimize resource allocation.
You will conduct deep-dive case reviews and research complex personnel issues to provide formal recommendations for high-level congressional and leadership inquiries.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following type of duties: 1) Advising on process improvement, change management, and issues related to distribution and placement functions to meet organizational objectives; 2) Analyzing annual budget inputs and identifying, collecting, and monitoring key performance metrics; 3) Extracting data from human resource information systems to build monthly manning slates, create manning statistics, and prepare correspondence, reports, and briefs; and 4) Initiating and managing project teams and conducting case reviews to provide recommendations for high-level inquiries.
