Job Description
Overview Service New Brunswick (SNB) Technology Services is seeking a Programmer Analyst III (.NET Developer) to support enhancements and development of the Family Support Order Services (FSOS) application. You will work with the Business Applications Services team to design, develop, and implement technical solutions to support system upgrades and ongoing improvements. Key Responsibilities
Develop efficient and scalable. NET based technical solutions based on approved business requirements.
Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and unit testing.
Work closely with Business System Analysts (BSA) to clarify requirements and provide technical feedback.
Maintain and update Team Foundation Server (TFS) tasks and project documentation regularly.
Ensure source code documentation and version control standards are maintained.
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to senior technical team members.
Mandatory Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
Education : University degree in IT, or 2-year Community College Diploma in IT, or equivalent experience.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Availability : Ability to support project activities from April 2026 to March 2028.
Technical Skills
Framework : .NET Framework 4.5+
IDE : Visual Studio 2012+
Database : SQL Server 2008R2+
Version Control : Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2017+
Other : Experience generating technical documents using Microsoft Word.
Preferred Skills
Experience developing bilingual software applications.
Knowledge of Family Support Order Services (FSOS) or similar government systems.
Experience working within government or public sector IT projects.
