For one of our clients, a leading company in the Life Sciences sector, we are currently looking for a **Technical Sales Specialist \- Genomics / qPCR** to strengthen its commercial team in Switzerland.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a **strong scientific background** who would like to combine technical expertise with customer interaction and business development. You will work with a broad range of customers across Switzerland, including research institutions, laboratories, healthcare organizations and Life Sciences companies.

**Technical Sales Specialist – Life Sciences**

Your Responsibilities

---------------------

As a Technical Sales Specialist Genomics / qPCR, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships while providing scientific and technical expertise on the company’s solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include

* Develop sales activities and identify new business opportunities across the Swiss market.

* Manage the full sales cycle, from initial customer contact and needs assessment through presentations, demonstrations, quotations and closing.

* Understand customers’ scientific and technical requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying additional business opportunities.

* Provide technical and scientific support during customer discussions.

* Organize and participate in customer meetings, workshops, product demonstrations and training sessions.

* Work closely with internal sales, application and product specialists.

* Maintain accurate information regarding customers, opportunities and commercial activities within the CRM.

* Monitor market developments, competitors and emerging customer needs.

* Participate in seminars, exhibitions, congresses and other industry events when required.

Your Profile

------------

* **Strong scientific background in Life Sciences**; a Master's degree or equivalent scientific qualification is preferred.

* Several years of laboratory or technical experience within the Life Sciences field.

* **Very good knowledge of PCR technologies**, ideally including **qPCR and/or ddPCR**.

* Good knowledge and understanding of **immunology / immunohematology** and related laboratory technologies.

* At least a **first experience in sales, technical sales or a customer\-facing commercial position** within Life Sciences.

* Ability to understand complex scientific applications and discuss them confidently with technical customers.

* Strong communication, presentation and relationship\-building skills.

* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.

* **Fluent German and English are mandatory.**

* **French is highly desirable** and will be considered a strong asset.

* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and travelling to customers when required.

* Valid driving licence.
