As an IT PROJECT MANAGER some of your typical work assignments include: Leading enterprise-level IT and AI projects through full SDLC (planning, deployment, sustainment) and developing project governance frameworks, risk strategies, and performance metrics Integrating enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI solutions.
Advising leadership on IT modernization, AI adoption, and policy alignment, and ensuring compliance with OMB directives, federal IT policy, and data governance standards Managing cross-functional teams and contractors delivering complex IT systems
You must meet the qualification (experience and/or education) requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level.
Specialized experience is defined as: Experience leading enterprise portfolio management, executing enterprise-level initiatives leveraging agile methodologies, and management of cross functional teams. Experience also includes establishing governance frameworks, policies, and performance metrics for enterprise-level IT and AI projects.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library version 4 (ITIL v.4) Foundation certification preferred.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
