IT Project Manager (NETWORK/INFOSEC)

The duties and responsibilities for a IT Project Manager (NETWORK/INFOSEC) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, reliability, resiliency, operational readiness, and service dependencies; resolve complex operational issues.

Coordinate with budget, acquisition, contracting, program, and technical personnel to ensure effective management of IT resources. Develop network project plans, technical requirements, implementation strategies, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.

Provide technical recommendations to contracting officials regarding contract administration, modifications, deliverable acceptance, schedule changes, and performance issues. Lead cross-functional teams of technical staff, program officials, contractors, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders.

To qualify for the position of IT Project Manager (NETWORK/INFOSEC), at GS-2210-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions.

AND Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience.

Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Participate in the planning execution and monitoring enterprise IT projects involving network services, information security, and/or telecommunications. You MUST meet all qualification requirements by the 09/04/2026 of this announcement.
