IT PROJECT MANAGER (CUSTOMER SUPPORT)

You will define project scope, objectives, resources and deliverables to mitigate risks and develop a comprehensive project plan and monitor project activities and resources until completion of project.

You will contribute to long range plans for the acquisition, management, delivery and control of information services under the cognizance of PSNS and IMF.

You will review, analyze, and assess IT programs for overall compliance with Federal, DOD, Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and other policies.

You will ensure policies and procedures are in place so that information systems are reliable and accessible and defends against unauthorized access to application systems and data.

You will participate in strategic planning to support the design and implementation of streamlined processes that take full advantage of IT capabilities utilizing NAVSEA methodologies and tool sets, as required.

You will present controversial or political observations and findings relating to the effective and efficient use of Information Technology (IT) systems, applications, and information processing to those in the subordinate command or detachment.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight for analyzing, managing, or performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work processes by using Information Technology (IT) systems.

Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
