Supervisory Program Manager

In this position you will serve as a first line supervisor over a team of Program Managers who are engaged in managing critical program segments for which the scope and effect of the work have an Office of Field Operations-wide impact.

You will oversee a variety of law enforcement programs, to include enforcement operations for drug interdiction and seized narcotics accountability. This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Planning, directing, and evaluating major program segments that include diverse professional, technical, and administrative activities, with impact across a headquarters-level office or nationwide program, including development and execution of multi-year work plans and goals.

Leading complex, cross-organizational projects as a subject matter expert, including applying analytical methodologies (such as statistical tools, mathematical techniques, and process mapping) to improve service delivery, reduce costs, increase quality, and develop and justify business cases.

Providing technical direction in project management, team building, facilitation, process improvement analysis, and the methodology required to develop and substantiate a business case for the selected project.

Overseeing law enforcement-related programs such as inspection, intelligence analysis, drug interdiction, and seized property accountability, including ensuring enforcement of applicable laws and policies, overseeing enforcement actions, and ensuring proper custody, preservation, and disposition of contraband and seized property.

Managing organizational change and resources, including approving allocation and distribution of funds, implementing internal controls in accordance with the Federal Managers' Integrity Act, identifying and resolving issues where no policy exists, and coordinating with senior officials within and outside the agency to address complex, cross-cutting program issues.
