🏠 Where you’ll fit in and role summary

As we enter a stage of rapid commercialisation and growth, we're looking for a Generation Flex Delivery Manager to own the successful onboarding of flexible generation and energy assets onto KrakenFlex across the EU with a focus on Germany.

This is a customer-facing delivery role with a strong technical bias. You'll manage an asset through the full onboarding journey, from initial discovery and technical analysis, through site design and gateway installation, to commissioning, testing and handover into live service.

You'll sit at the intersection of our customers, Electrical Engineering, Product and Customer Success Engineering teams. You'll need to understand both the connectivity and control architecture of our customers' assets and how those assets connect to and operate through the KrakenFlex SaaS platform .

You won't be expected to design the details of the integration solution or write the software yourself. Instead, you'll need enough technical depth across both areas to understand how they fit together, identify gaps and risks, challenge incomplete information and drive the right conversations to get a site successfully integrated.

Your role is to bring together three perspectives throughout onboarding:

Customer : What is the customer trying to achieve, and what do we need from them?

Product : How will the asset operate within KrakenFlex, and what product capabilities and configuration are required?

Engineering : How does the physical asset need to be integrated, connected and commissioned to make that solution work?

Your job is to make sure those three come together as one successfully delivered customer solution .

🚀 What you'll own

Own the end-to-end onboarding and delivery of Generation Flex assets BESS (grid-scale and C&I) and RES (Wind and Solar), from initial onboarding through analysis, site design, installation, configuration, commissioning, testing and handover into live service.

Build a strong understanding of the Generation Flex product and SaaS platform , including how assets are represented, configured, monitored and controlled within KrakenFlex.

Understand how the physical site and its electrical/control systems connect into the KrakenFlex software architecture, and bring those two worlds together throughout onboarding.

Work closely with Product and Software Engineering teams to understand the relevant GenFlex capabilities, product modules, configuration requirements and technical constraints for each customer and asset.

Translate between customer requirements, electrical engineering requirements and SaaS/product requirements , making sure each group understands what is needed from the others.

Understand the end-to-end data and control path from the physical asset through site controls, meters, PPCs, gateways and communications infrastructure into Kraken Flex, and from Kraken Flex back to the asset where control is required.

Ensure that the customer's intended use of the GenFlex product is reflected in the technical onboarding solution, including the required telemetry, controls, configuration, integrations and product modules.

Be able to explain to customers how their site will interact with KrakenFlex, both from a physical integration perspective and from a software/product perspective.

Work with Product teams to identify where customer or asset requirements do not fit current product capabilities, and ensure gaps, constraints or product dependencies are surfaced early.

Feed recurring onboarding challenges, customer requirements and technical integration pain points back into Product and Engineering teams to help improve and scale the GenFlex proposition.

Be the primary delivery point of contact for customers during site onboarding, setting clear expectations around what we need from them, what Kraken is delivering and what needs to happen next.

Work closely with our Electrical Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams to ensure the technical information required to integrate a site is complete, accurate and available at the right stage of delivery.

Review and interpret customer technical documentation including

Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

Network and communications diagrams

Site and asset specifications

PPC and controller documentation

Modbus register maps

IP addressing and network information

Functional Design Specifications

Metering and telemetry information

Hardware and connectivity requirements

Be confident discussing technical site architecture with customers and engineers, understanding how equipment such as generators, batteries, meters, PPCs, controllers, gateways and site networks fit together.

Identify missing, inconsistent or technically unclear customer information early and drive it to resolution before it becomes a delivery blocker.

Coordinate the preparation and review of Kraken integration documentation, including gateway architecture, communications diagrams, Kraken SLDs, integration designs and site configuration information.

Coordinate the Kraken Gateway delivery and installation process , ensuring prerequisites such as power, networking, connectivity and installation arrangements are understood and ready.

Manage readiness for key commissioning and testing activities, including:

Gateway installation and connectivity

Operational acceptance testing

Kraken market and service testing

Proactively manage delivery risks and communicate issues and mitigation plans clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Surface blockers early and drive the right people together to resolve them rather than allowing issues to sit between teams.

Maintain clear visibility of the status and health of each site, including technical readiness, product readiness, customer actions, Kraken actions and upcoming milestones.

Continuously improve the Generation Flex onboarding process, identifying recurring technical, product or customer blockers and working with Engineering, Product and Operations teams to remove them.
