The posting
You will be responsible for strategic human resources and workforce planning for the command's strategic plan.
You will be responsible for developing and administering command wide regulatory guidance, standards and procedures, for the management and direction of human resource programs, processes and operations which are responsive to commands requirements.
You will be responsible for representing the commander in matters related to human resources operations and processes.
You will be responsible for managing and guiding the conducting of quality based command management assessments to determine the state and effectiveness of human resources programs and services.
You will be responsible for supervising a staff of senior level human resources specialists via subordinate supervisors and exercising the full range of supervisory duties.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: delivering civilian federal human resources (HR) services such as: providing strategic HR and workforce planning, developing and executing HR strategies, preparing business cases to support HR initiatives and supporting workforce shaping efforts, activity realigning and restructuring; creating and issuing regulatory guidance, standards, and procedures for the management and direction of HR programs, and processing and operating to Command requirements, goals, mission, and vision using HR concepts, principles, laws and regulations.
