Serves as an Executive Assistant and Advisor to the DISA Global Commander, Technical Director and Senior Enlisted Leader.
Coordinates distribution of information or materials with external entities; coordinates meeting/seminar/conference logistics.
Serves as a timekeeper and maintains time and attendance for the Command.
Prepares travel arrangements for all Command Group members in the Defense Travel System (DTS), to include detailed itinerary, flight arrangements, lodging, rental car, and scheduling meetings at location.
At the GG-12 level, acts as the primary Task Officer/Action Officer, facilitating all tasks and suspense items for the command.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-09 grade level, your resume must describe at least one year of qualifying experience equivalent to the GS/GG-07 grade level in the Federal service.
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position at the GG-09 level, qualifying experience is defined as experience assisting in drafting and reviewing standard executive correspondence, memos, and briefings; maintaining multiple calendars for senior-level staff; and scheduling and coordinating meetings.
To qualify at the GG-11 grade level, your resume must describe at least one year of qualifying experience equivalent to the GS/GG-09 grade level in the Federal service.
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position at the GG-11 level, qualifying experience is defined as experience independently drafting and reviewing executive correspondence, memos, and briefings; maintaining multiple calendars for senior-level staff; scheduling and coordinating meetings; and tracking action items or taskers using a data system.
To qualify at the GG-12 grade level, your resume must describe at least one year of qualifying experience equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level in the Federal service.
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position at the GG-12 level, qualifying experience is defined as directing, editing, reviewing, and finalizing executive correspondence for executive signature, memos, and briefings; maintaining multiple senior-level staff calendars; scheduling and coordinating meetings; directing the workflow of action items or taskers using a data system; and executing travel arrangements and final authorizations utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).
