At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest open customer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!
Identity & Access Management Analyst
Join our dedicated 3-person Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within our broader technology department. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across Security, HR Ops, Privacy, and IT to manage critical access and secure resources enterprise-wide. We foster a healthy, transparent, and highly collaborative environment where you can work with state-of-the-art tech and leverage our AI investments to innovate in the IAM space.
As an Identity & Access Management Analyst you will take ownership of the day-to-day disciplines that govern how colleagues access the systems they need.
Working directly within the wider IT Operations and Identity & Access Management function, you will run the joiner, mover, and leaver processes, handle incoming access requests, administer privileged access, and support access reviews and audit evidence that keep us compliant.
Your efforts will directly shape how quickly and securely our team members get the access required to do their best work.
In this hands-on operational role, you will quickly broaden your scope into application onboarding, connecting new tools with Single Sign-On (SSO) and automated user provisioning (SCIM). You will collaborate closely with IT Operations, Security, and application owners across the business, all while receiving support from senior team members on more complex work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Access Administration & Ticketing: Serve as the operational contact for IAM ticketing, managing end-to-end user access lifecycles, including ticketing queues, approvals, and access provisioning, while driving process improvements through automation.
Guide Joiner, Mover & Leaver Journeys: Partner with teams to ensure colleagues have smooth, timely access on day one and that permissions are updated or removed seamlessly as roles change or people move on.
Lifecycle Management: Partner closely with HR Ops on employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding, flexibly adapting to frequent last-minute changes in start dates or employment scope.
Application Onboarding & Configuration: Perform basic technical configurations when integrating new SaaS platforms and tools, including setting up Single Sign-On (SSO), defining access groups, and establishing initial authorization levels.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement: Collaborate directly with internal system owners and third-party vendors to troubleshoot access issues, configure SAML integrations, and manage platform permissions.
Manage Elevated Permissions: Administer privileged and administrative access, ensuring elevated permissions are time-bound, justified, and regularly reviewed.
Maintain Reliable Identity Data: Govern group memberships, access roles, and HR system integrations to ensure identity data remains accurate across systems.
Support Audit Readiness : Run periodic access reviews and compile documentation for audit requests (such as SOC 2) for systems in scope.
Solve Access Challenges : Support colleagues when access issues arise, looking into root causes to build lasting, friendly solutions rather than short-term fixes.
Automate & Streamline: Connect applications to Microsoft Entra ID using standards like SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SCIM where supported. Follow clear, manual processes with proper checks where SCIM isn't supported, and look for repetitive tasks that can be simplified or automated.
Who You Are
Identity Experience: Background in an IT or Identity & Access Management role using a modern identity provider. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID is a plus, but experience with a comparable platform is welcome.
Care for the Details : Practical experience handling joiner, mover, and leaver work, access requests, or user administration, with an appreciation for why accurate access matters to people’s day-to-day work.
Familiar with Modern Security : Comfortable with access controls like multi-factor authentication and conditional access, as well as modern sign-in options—from one-time codes to authenticator apps, passkeys, and certificates—and why some offer stronger protection.
Security & Audit Mindset : Comfortable viewing access through a security and compliance lens, understanding the value of clear evidence and audit trails.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Knowledge : Practical experience configuring enterprise SSO alongside vendors or app owners—backed by an understanding of SAML and OAuth 2.0—or a strong desire to learn them.
Curious Problem-Solver : Able to independently analyze and troubleshoot sign-in flows to pinpoint integration issues before escalating.
Automation-Oriented : Exposure to automated user provisioning (SCIM), or an understanding of the concepts with an eagerness to build on them. Comfortable with scripting or excited to learn.
Clear & Empathetic Communicator : Able to communicate thoughtfully with colleagues across different departments—whether explaining why a request was declined or walking an application owner through a setup.
Methodical & Mindful: Thoughtful and precise in your approach, recognizing that identity work carries a low tolerance for mistakes and directly impacts the team experience.
