Serving as a Program Analyst GS-0343-9 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Core Training Operations Directorate (CTO) as assigned under the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations (TOPS) and located in Glynco, Georgia.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide substantial administrative and analytical support to the division, division chief, and management team. Typical duties include: Performing various complex, time-sensitive, and recurring duties or projects assigned by the division chief.

The position maintains contact with other CTO organizational elements, Partner Organizations (PO), FLETC staff, or other Federal government agencies. Cooperating with private sector or local communities to share organizational information then report those contacts and activities to CTO headquarters.

Evaluating a variety of administrative documentation critical for the overall management and coordination of daily activities within a division. Assisting divisional management staff with developing briefings, talking points, synopses, and presentations. Presentations must be organized in a clear and professional manner with minimal notice.

For additional assistance, please visit: USAJOBS Help Center - Update your resume now so it meets new resume requirements You qualify at the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in Federal service, that demonstrates the ability to: Developing data from a variety of sources including reports, memorandums, meetings, discussions, and notes; Reviewing, analyzing, and editing memorandums, directives, manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), and correspondence; Utilizing various systems to control and access office records, files, and other documentation (hard copy/electronic) according to policy regarding maintenance and disposition of files; Screening all correspondence to ensure supporting materials are included and assures all correspondence complies with established procedures.; OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related; OR A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.

Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.

If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) eligibles: If you have never worked for the federal government, you are not ICTAP eligible.
