Program Analyst, NF-04

Serves as a junior analyst at the IMCOM Headquarters level performing a variety of analytical duties for one or more program areas. Assists supervisor or senior program analyst in the administration of processes and analytical support associated with assigned program areas.

Determines data required for analysis and devises appropriate methods for securing required information from sources such as reports, surveys, on-site investigations, discussions with officials, statutes, policies, plans, schedules, etc. Analyzes issues, selects and applies accepted analytical techniques.

Develops initial conclusions and recommendations for problems analyzed for submission to senior analyst or supervisor. May oversee operating procedures for a variety of administrative and/or program support functions.

Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Applicants must have experience performing work similar to the duties listed above.

Documented experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade/level. Possess knowledge of the basic principles, concepts and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques and develop initial conclusions.

Possess experience collecting and determining the data required for analysis and creating methods for measuring performance. Possess experience working collaboratively to develop strategies to address and resolve problems.

Highly Qualifying Criteria: Possess work experience as a research assistant/specialist/analyst/manager/analyst, biostatistician, data analyst, business analyst, mathematician, actuary or similar demonstratable in your resume.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology, Demography, Engineering, Mathematics, Political Science, Actuarial Science, or similar.

Possess demonstrated experience using Microsoft Power applications, especially developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards All answers to the Highly Qualifying Criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit.
