The duties and responsibilities for a Management & Program Analyst, GS-0343-12/13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Evaluating program operations and information systems to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, productivity, and case management.

Defining information system requirements and evaluates system parameters to support development and testing activities. Developing automated reports from case management databases to support operational assessments and management decisions.

Analyzing complex data to produce quantitative and qualitative findings that address program performance and procedural issues. Monitoring case management and production data to ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and issued on schedule.

Coordinating management studies and system initiatives with information technology staff and other organizational components. Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to management through reports, briefings, and data visualization tools.

In order to qualify for the Management & Program Analyst position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (or comparable experience outside the Federal service), performing 3 or more of the following duties: Evaluating program operations using qualitative or quantitative methods to identify performance issues and recommend improvements; Developing automated or recurring reports from databases to support management decisions; Analyzing operational data to produce documented findings for management review; and Preparing briefing materials that communicate program results or potential problem areas.

(Your resume must CLEARLY demonstrate this experience) FOR THE GS-13 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or comparable experience outside the Federal service), performing 3 or more of the following duties: Conducting complex assessments of program operations to recommend changes that improve organizational effectiveness; Designing automated reporting requirements that support senior management decisions; Analyzing high-volume data from multiple sources to resolve inconsistencies and develop defensible conclusions; and Defining information system requirements or parameters to support development and testing activities.
