The duties and responsibilities for a GS-0343-Program Analyst (Data Analytics)-12/13/14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops, evaluates and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with commercial off-the-shelf products and litigation support applications.
Research and designs presentations and interpretations of analytical outputs tailored to specific audiences including the use of interactivity and narrative storytelling, where appropriate. Provides strategic and technical guidance and hands-on support in the transfer of any required data needed for ad-hoc and ongoing analyses.
Collects effective, comparable case management data and provides advice and information that assists PARDON in its understanding of the state of case processing and case resolution.
Assists in the development and improvement of information management systems, programs, storage and catalog solutions to support the data gathering and analytical needs of PARDON while continually improving the scientific and evaluation methodologies for these systems and programs. The duties listed above are generally written for one grade level.
If the position is advertised at multiple grades, the duties will be adjusted in difficulty, complexity, and level of supervision, for higher or lower grades, as appropriate.
To qualify for the position of Program Analyst (Data Analytics), at GS-0343-12/13/14, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below. GS-12 Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Evaluating datasets to support recommendations that enhance organizational programs; 2) Preparing dashboards and/or presentations to showcase data results to stakeholders; and 3) Gathering data from multiple sources to support program goals.
GS-13 Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Interpreting large datasets to support recommendations that enhance organizational programs; 2) Presenting data model results to technical and/or non-technical audience; and 3) Modifying and/or manipulating data methodologies to gain needed results.
GS-14 Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Assisting in developing processes guidelines, instructions or policies to promote effective data management; 2) Supporting long-range program planning by delivering data driven results to align with organization mission goals and/or objectives; and 3) Developing business analytics to assess case management data in supporting legal actions.
