You will conduct a variety of studies related to project performance, recognizing weaknesses in work processes and providing recommendations.
You will plan, coordinate, and provide guidance and support to Project Managers and supervisors based on facts obtained through analytical studies, investigations and evaluations.
You will monitor project cost and schedule metrics, report problem areas to project leadership, and recommend corrective actions.
You will advise in creating manning plans, make manning decisions, and develop overtime budgets.
You will develop strategies for accommodating resource and manning due to workload fluctuations.
You will ensure all employees assigned to the project have training qualifications in the training database and ensure employees attend training as scheduled.
You will conduct data processing, data development, performance tracking, and cost analysis assessment for the project.
You will perform general program analyst duties for the department in areas such as resource allocation, forecasting, training and development, efficient utilization of resources, cost analysis, and scheduling when not working specific projects.
You will eliminate potential bottlenecks to minimize effects of actual work stoppages or delays encountered.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: determining requirements and recommending improvements by analyzing or evaluating program methods and techniques to ensure manpower and material resource efficiency.
