Serve as the senior technical authority and policy architect for Army Material command.
Establish the strategic vision, governance frameworks, and command-wide policy for the multi-billion-dollar Facility Investment Plan (FIP) and global MILCON portfolio.
Direct the strategic integration, continuous evaluation, and executive defense of the Army’s enterprise facility infrastructure portfolio.
Drive command-wide strategy for integrating innovative engineering technologies, dynamic data modeling, and smart infrastructure paradigms into Active Army facilities.
Serve as the principal advisor to the AMC Commanding General, Deputy Commanding General, and Executive Directors on total-portfolio infrastructure health, strategic risk, and capital investment posture.
Lead matrixed inter-disciplinary teams and direct enterprise-level strategic studies to transform Army facilities asset management.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes: developing and analyzing policies, plans, and programs relating to the organization's facility infrastructure and investment; evaluating overall organizational effectiveness; providing program analysis and oversight; representing the organization at executive level conferences and events; and applying engineering technologies and concepts.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
