System Analyst (Risk Decisioning)

About the Role We’re looking for a System Analyst (Risk Decisioning) to join the Novacard Risk Tech team and help maintain and evolve our credit decisioning strategies for the Mexican market.

In this role, you will support and enhance scoring strategies for credit cards, design and test integrations with external data providers, and ensure the quality and stability of risk decision workflows.

You’ll collaborate closely with risk engineers, model developers, and platform teams to improve automation, test reliability, and decision accuracy.

Key Responsibilities: Support and develop risk scoring strategies and decision logic Analyze data flows and ensure the accuracy of decision parameters Design and test integrations with external data providers Create and execute test plans for new releases and strategy updates Automate regression and smoke testing for scoring procedures Monitor incidents and participate in post-release validation Document processes, test results, and system behavior in Confluence Requirements Fluent Russian, English B1+ (comfortable with technical documentation) Experience as a system or business analyst in retail risk decisioning (credit cards, loans, antifraud) Background in top-tier banks or fintech companies (experience in top 10 Russian banks is a plus) Strong SQL skills (MS SQL / PostgreSQL) Hands-on experience with REST API integrations Experience in functional and regression testing, preferably for scoring or decisioning systems Knowledge of test automation tools or scripting is a plus What We Offer Fully remote work format Official employment under the Russian Labor Code (if residing in Russia); contractor collaboration possible from other countries Opportunity to work in an international team on a new digital product in the Mexican market Work in a data-driven environment where your contributions have real impact Originally posted on Himalayas
