As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Independently designs and conducts comprehensive reviews of the Deputy Directorate's organizational processes, training initiatives, and operational workflows Interprets, evaluates, and provides authoritative guidance on the impact of new or proposed policies affecting manpower programs, staffing levels, resource allocation, and organizational structure.
Produces recurring and ad hoc reports to inform leadership decisions and proactively address evolving organizational requirements. Develops detailed analytical reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing findings from manpower and administrative reviews.
Leverages advanced data analysis and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and AI platforms, to automate workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance cross-division collaboration
You may qualify at the GS- 12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Applies specialized data analysis tools and methodologies, such as manpower forecasting models and operational performance metrics to evaluate program outcomes and support strategic planning for the Deputy Directorate; Utilizes personnel management, reorganization/realignment, organizational structuring position management, and manpower utilization to determine whether structural, staffing, and training needs are in line with program plans and work methods; Interprets and applies complex policy guidance, develop innovative solutions, and provide authoritative advice to senior leadership; advanced business operations management principles and techniques to independently oversee and coordinate the day-to-day battle rhythm and operations of the directorate; Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite applications (such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Planner) and SharePoint to design, develop, and manage complex data analyses, reports, presentations, project plans, and collaborative workspaces.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
