The posting

Serves as the primary Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Program Manager for MEPRS (Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System) and DMHRSi (Defense Medical Human Resources System – Internet ) programs.

Oversees DMHRSi implementation and sustainment issues and local business processes.

Using Military Health Systems (MHS) systems complete data entry, extracts and reports as needed. Skilled in building and utilizing matrixed databases (e.g., import/export capabilities within all related and necessary data systems and repositories).

Develops and updates processes to comply with Joint Commission accreditation standards for MEPRS.

Conducts audits/reconciliation at different levels of the MEPRS Program.

Provides training for all levels of facility staff concerning MEPRS/DMHRSi implementation, utilization and completing time reporting requirements in relation to each program.

Basic Requirement for Program Analyst (Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System): Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing healthcare cost, workload, or manpower reporting using structured data systems, including MEPRS (Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System) and DMHRSi (Defense Medical Human Resources System - Internet) or similar healthcare financial or human resources information systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.

Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
