The posting
You will establish long-term task priorities, determines work procedures and methods, and guides employees and/or supervisors’ work.
You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will effect minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands, recommending other action in more serious cases and may issue decisions on serious disciplinary actions, including removals from Federal service\.
You will motivate the employees and/or supervisors under your leadership to perform and lead the work unit(s) through developing organizational objectives
You will ensure sound fiscal management by observing and applying STRL position management and classification principles; analyzing, monitoring, and reducing costs; forecasting budgets; and providing information to higher level management.
You will act as a project/task team leader/manager for medium to large technical projects and/or programs or business initiatives and may supervise the team of non-supervisory level employees assigned to the project/program/task/initiative effort(s).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: To qualify for this Supervisory Management Analyst position, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level that demonstrates the ability to supervise a geographically dispersed administrative workforce and direct high-volume administrative operations-specifically overseeing organizational travel programs, official mail operations, and government purchase card execution.
Additionally, this experience must demonstrate proficiency in executing command-level personnel accountability and enterprise resource planning software, utilizing continuous process improvement methodologies and statistical metrics to analyze and optimize service delivery, and serving as a key liaison to senior leadership and external vendors to coordinate contracted support services and manage high-visibility organizational actions.
