Business Analyst (middle/senior)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst (middle/senior) based in Germany.

Accountabilities

Conduct detailed business analysis to support the development and enhancement of digital products and fintech solutions.

Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business and product requirements from stakeholders, clients, and focus groups.

Develop comprehensive user stories, use cases, functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation.

Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product improvement.

Collaborate with development, product, sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery and feature implementation.

Support third-party API and SDK integrations by coordinating with technical teams and assisting throughout implementation.

Participate in solution testing, troubleshooting, product launches, and post-deployment monitoring to ensure high-quality releases.

Prepare integration guides, user manuals, training materials, and knowledge-sharing documentation while delivering product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar product-focused role.

Experience working in B2B and/or B2C software environments, preferably within fintech or SaaS industries.

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, project management principles, and Agile frameworks.

Experience creating user stories, process diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and functional specifications using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, UML, and Figma.

Working knowledge of SQL, with basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience supporting API integrations and collaborating with technical teams on complex software implementations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, collaborative environment.

Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher.
