System Engineer / TPL - Short & Medium Range Air Surveillance 80-100 (w/m/d)

* Lead the overall project for establishing RUAG's MRO, integration, simulation, and operational support capabilities.

* Take responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.

* Act as the technical point of contact and subject-matter expert throughout system introduction, transition into service, operation, and maintenance.

* Lead interdisciplinary activities across Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance, Business Development, Sales, OEMs, suppliers, and customer-facing organizations.

* Establish the required system knowledge, diagnostic methods, processes, infrastructure, tooling, documentation, training, and support concepts.

* Lead technical knowledge transfer and industrial cooperation with OEMs and suppliers, including offset-related activities.

* Lead and support integration, verification, acceptance, commissioning, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis.

* Translate technical and operational customer needs into effective maintenance, integration, simulation, and support solutions.

* Lead the development of business opportunities, tenders, technical concepts, effort estimations, and offer inputs together with Business Development and Sales.

* Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

* Master's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

* Several years of experience in leading complex technical projects in radar, sensors, surveillance, RF technologies, or other mission-critical environments.

* Solid project management expertise, preferably with IPMA B or C, PMI, HERMES, or comparable certification.

* Proven experience in system engineering, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, or support of complex technical systems.

* Strong technical understanding and the ability to translate system expertise into customer value and sustainable support solutions.

* Strong business awareness and experience in leading technical business development activities.

* Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.

* Experience with Python, Linux and/or Windows, simulation environments, and common radar data format such as ASTERIX

* Fluent in German and English; French is a strong asset.

* Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland and occasionally abroad.

* Eligible to Swiss security clearance
