Job description

As a **Scientist – Drug Delivery Systems Engineer**, you will support the development and lifecycle management of Combination Products and drug delivery devices.

You will

* Execute technical activities for drug delivery systems used in respiratory, subcutaneous and intravenous applications.

* Develop and maintain **Design Control and Risk Management documentation**.

* Support Combination Product projects within agreed timelines, quality requirements and cost targets.

* Contribute to the design, development, customization, specification, integration, qualification and optimization of drug delivery devices.

* Support technology transfer and the introduction of Combination Products and associated manufacturing processes.

* Independently plan, coordinate and monitor technical work packages and assigned activities.

* Investigate and resolve technical challenges using data, scientific expertise and sound engineering judgement.

* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across **R\&D, Technical Operations, Quality and Operations**.

* Support seamless project handovers and the development of aligned technical strategies and concepts.

* Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of applicable regulations, guidelines, standards and industry developments relating to Combination Products.

* Provide technical expertise and recommendations for business, project and scientific questions.

Requirements

* A **Master’s degree or PhD in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering**, or another closely related technical discipline.

* At least **5 years of relevant experience** within the pharmaceutical industry and/or a highly relevant academic environment.

* Strong scientific and technical knowledge of **Combination Products and drug delivery systems**.

* Practical experience with **Design Controls and Risk Management**.

* Experience working with relevant **regulatory and quality standards** for medical devices or Combination Products.

* Proven experience preparing technical and quality documentation supporting assessments and regulatory submissions.

* The ability to work independently, organize complex activities and take ownership of assigned topics.

* Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders at different organizational levels.

* Excellent communication skills in **English**.
