The posting

As a Junior Buyer, you will contribute to efficient procurement operations while supporting sourcing and supplier management activities in an international environment. You will work closely with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth purchasing processes and help drive cost optimization initiatives.

Your contribution to something big

Support operational and administrative procurement activities across the purchasing organization.

Manage RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and related procurement documentation.

Maintain and continuously improve purchasing systems and tools, including SAP.

Create and maintain supplier master data and purchasing information records.

Prepare supplier, spend, market, and cost analyses to support sourcing decisions and negotiations.

Assist buyers during negotiations regarding pricing, delivery schedules, quantities, and commercial conditions.

Support supplier and material analyses to identify standardization, consolidation, and cost-saving opportunities.

Coordinate ramp-up and ramp-down activities and contribute to bottleneck management.

Collaborate proactively with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders worldwide.

Prepare standard reports and support internal and external audit activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

First experience through internships, working student positions, or professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related area is preferred.

Know-how

Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications, especially Excel.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and derive meaningful insights.

Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes is an advantage.

Languages

Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.

German language skills are beneficial but not required.
