Commercial Buyer - EA Region (focus Commercial Goods) & ASEAN Scouting Interface, Mobility Aftermarket Division

1. Material Field Strategy & Global Bundling

Develop and implement material field strategies and consolidate global/area demand.

Conduct regular strategy and performance reviews.

2. Supplier Scouting & Selection

Identify, assess, and select suppliers for projects.

Conduct evaluations (RPA, CSR checks) and manage supplier approvals per internal standards.

3. Supplier Management

Evaluate annual supplier performance and manage supply risks.

Drive supplier development initiatives and maintain SRM master data.

Act as supplier mentor and oversee escalation and logistics performance topics.

4. Sourcing & Contract Management

Lead RFQs and annual price negotiations.

Manage sourcing decisions, cost-reduction activities, and price benchmarking.

Own all supplier contracts and ensure timely renewals and system updates.

5. Planning & Reporting

Plan and track purchasing targets and KPls.

Maintain RPP and PICO reporting and ensure MCR data accuracy.

Provide regional input for Current Forecast processes.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the Automotive, Technical Products or Trade Goods industry.

Professional experience in purchasing or procurement is an advantage.

Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to drive purchasing excellence within a complex, matrixed organization.

Advanced analytical mindset with experience leveraging Al technologies to enhance data interpretation, forecasting, risk assessment, and continuous improvement within procurement operations.

Advanced skills in tendering, negotiation, and vendor management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Awareness of local and international procurement regulations and standards.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, collaborate across global teams, and demonstrate strong team-player qualities.

Familiar in procurement-related IT systems and digital tools.

Familiarity with Bosch purchasing structures, processes, and governance is an advantage.

Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Additionally, familiarity with other languages such as Chinese or commonly used in East Asia would be considered a valuable asset.

Demonstrated flexibility and readiness to undertake domestic and international travel to support procurement activities, supplier visits, and cross-regional collaboration.
