We are seeking an experienced Amazon Demand Planning & Inventory Manager to manage end-to-end Amazon demand planning and inventory optimization across multiple marketplaces including US, UK, and CA.
This role is responsible for building accurate forecasts, maintaining healthy inventory levels, and supporting Amazon operational planning across FBA and FBM channels.
The planner will collaborate closely with operations, warehousing, and planning teams to ensure consistent stock availability, optimize replenishment strategies, and support high-volume periods such as Prime Day and Q4.
Key focus areas include demand forecasting, replenishment planning, data analysis, Amazon inventory health management, and cross-functional collaboration to support inventory availability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
Build and maintain monthly demand forecasts for Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, CA) at Style-Color level.
Manage a 9–12 month planning horizon with weekly and monthly forecasting outputs.
Utilize historical sales data, lead times, and master data inputs to drive forecasting accuracy.
Apply forecasting models (seasonality, regression, exponential smoothing) and AI tools to predict demand.
Amazon Operations & Inventory Management
Manage replenishment planning, inbound shipments, and storage optimization for FBA and FBM.
Partner with Amazon Operations to resolve shortages, chargebacks, and inventory discrepancies.
Support FBA vs. FBM fulfillment strategy during peak events such as Prime Day and Q4.
Coordinate kitting requirements and collaborate with Operations and 3PL partners for timely inbound execution.
Data Management & Analysis
Analyze sales and inventory data across Amazon Seller Central, NetSuite, and Looker.
Apply data transformations to ensure accuracy and resolve data quality issues.
Collaborate with data teams to validate inputs and maintain reliable inventory tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with planning, warehousing, product, and sales teams to ensure inventory availability.
Provide Amazon planning insights and maintain clear reporting on priorities and workload.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Amazon demand planning and FBA inventory management
Strong proficiency in Excel and Amazon Seller Central (FBA, FBM, Direct Import)
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and inventory management tools
Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, and data-driven decision making
Strong understanding of Amazon inventory health metrics, FBA logistics, and storage optimization
Experience managing Amazon replenishment, inbound shipments, and 3PL coordination
Expertise in forecasting methodologies (seasonality, regression, exponential smoothing)
Experience managing 9–12 month demand planning horizons
Experience in multi-channel DTC + Amazon environments, preferably in apparel or consumer goods
Familiarity with data tools such as BigQuery, Looker, or similar analytics platforms
Experience managing inventory across multiple Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, CA)
