The posting

We're a rapidly growing sports and recreation group operating across Canada and South Florida: recreational leagues and programs serving thousands of families (SportStars), a premier indoor soccer facility (Americas Got Soccer), and new consumer tech heading to market. 100+ team members, multiple brands, growing ~40% per year. Paid media acquisition is a core part of our growth engine — roughly $600K USD per year in spend across the portfolio, with Meta as the primary channel.

The role: You own paid social performance. Your job is to turn ad spend into program registrations at target cost — through creative strategy, disciplined testing, and full-funnel analysis.

This is a performance seat: you'll spend most of your time deciding what creative gets made, reading what the data says about it, and briefing the next iteration.

You'll have a dedicated video editor to execute against your briefs, direct access to the founder, and an AI-forward stack (we expect heavy use of AI tools across creatives and campaign analysis).

What you'll own

Meta ad accounts end-to-end across brands: structure, budgets, pacing, and scaling

The creative testing engine: an always-on testing calendar with clear hypotheses per test (hook, angle, format, audience)

Creative analysis: hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and CPL by creative — diagnosing exactly where each ad wins or loses people, and briefing the next variant

Briefing and directing UGC creators and our video editor; writing hooks and ad copy in English

Full-funnel performance: landing pages and lead forms, CAPI setup and event match quality, and speed-to-lead handoffs with our sales teams

Seasonal campaign planning around registration windows (fall/winter/spring/summer sessions, camps, leagues)

Localized campaigns done right: geo-radius targeting, small remarketing pools, frequency management in limited markets

A weekly scorecard in business terms: registrations, CPL, CAC, and blended efficiency — not vanity metrics

Requirements

3+ years hands-on Meta buying in **direct-response lead generation** — local services, gyms/fitness, education/enrollment, events, memberships. (Ecommerce-only backgrounds usually don't translate here.)

You've managed meaningful budgets (US $20K+/month, or scaled accounts significantly) and can show the numbers story behind ads you briefed or built

A real testing methodology you can articulate unprompted — not one-off experiments

Measurement literacy: attribution windows, click vs. view-through, blended CAC vs. in-platform ROAS, and healthy skepticism about what Ads Manager claims

Fluent English, written and spoken — all customer-facing copy is English

Comfort with spreadsheet-level analysis and cohorting performance by creative

Full-time availability with 4+ hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time

Compensation: $1,500-2,500 USD per month depending on experience
