The posting

We are seeking a D365 Finance Integration Architect to focus on the technical integration and modernization of a core financial system for a federal agency.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing secure interfaces, building middleware solutions, and leading the extraction and loading of data to replace heavily customized legacy applications.

You will act as the technical anchor, ensuring all data pipelines and system connections align with federal security guidelines and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Support Integration Engineering: Assist in designing, building, and verifying system-to-system interfaces and solutions to connect D365 Finance with external applications.

Execute Data Migrations: Help extract, transform, and load historical financial data, including subledger, refund, and reconciliation records, out of legacy systems and into the new environment.

Align Functional Settings: Review how the agency processes filing fees, refunds, and accounting workflows to ensure the software configurations meet every day operational needs.

Maintain Security Standards: Set up technical configurations that meet federal security standards, helping the team align with required delivery frameworks and authorization milestones.

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (dual citizens not eligible)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university

5+ years of hands-on technical architecture and coding experience within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) or senior-level Dynamics AX 2012 environments.

Deep programming mastery in X++ (AOT object customization, classes, forms, batch job automation) and C#/.NET

Proven track record leading large-scale ERP data conversions utilizing DMF/DIXF and building automated validation/reconciliation scripts.

Strong background building service-based integrations using REST APIs, OData endpoints, Custom Services, and JSON/XML web services.

Practical working knowledge of Dataverse, environment lifecycle management via LCS (Lifecycle Services), and CI/CD code deployments via Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (MB-700) or Developer Associate (MB-500).

Experience deploying complex enterprise automation using Power Automate (Cloud Flows / Desktop RPA) and configuring custom connectors.

Functional familiarity with core financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets) and federal/regulated financial compliance standards.

Strong consulting presence and communication skills—the ability to clearly map complex integration hurdles to a development team and translate technical needs to agency stakeholders.
