Postdoctoral Fellow in Condensed Matter Physics

## Your tasks ##

* Develop theoretical models to describe the atomic and electronic structure of altermagnetic materials as measured in photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, ARPES) and scanning probe microscopy STM (computational focus)

* Maintain and develop computational tools in collaboration with the team

* Collaborate with experimental and theoretical partners

* Assist other team members performing experiments at the SLS and other light sources

* Participate in the international scientific community by presenting your results at international conferences and publish them in peer-reviewed scientific journals

## Your profile ##

* PhD degree in physics or a related field

* Strong expertise in theoretical modeling of condensed matter systems and their surfaces

* Strong computing skills including programming and experience with high-performance computing

* Successful first author publications

* Fluent in both written and spoken English
