The Senior Security Automation Engineer designs and delivers automation solutions that improve security, reduce manual work, and increase team productivity. This role partners closely with developers, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify challenges and build scalable solutions using AI, cloud technologies, and automation.

The ideal candidate is curious, customer-focused, and passionate about using AI to transform the way teams work. You will report to the Director of Security and Risk.

Responsibilities

Design and build automation solutions that improve vulnerability remediation and security operations.

Develop AI-powered workflows and services using large language models and platforms such as Amazon Bedrock.

Partner with engineering and security teams to identify pain points and create effective automation solutions.

Build, deploy, and support automation services in AWS using cloud-native technologies.

Automate business and operational processes, including asset management, compliance activities, and documentation.

Promote AI-first ways of working by sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative approaches.

5+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, cloud infrastructure, or automation.

Experience building and supporting automation solutions using languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go.

Hands-on experience using AI technologies, large language models, and AI-assisted development tools.

Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications and services in AWS.

Demonstrated curiosity and ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-first mindset and passion for continuous learning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
