Job Description

Aubrant Digital is seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Automation Engineer to expand configuration management and automation coverage across a 2,000+ server environment. This is a hands-on contributor role focused on Chef and Ansible-based automation, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipeline development to reduce manual operational toil.

Must-Have Requirements

Hands-on expertise with Chef and Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Infrastructure provisioning and orchestration experience at scale.

CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance experience.

Strong scripting skills across Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

Should-Have Requirements

Exposure to Azure infrastructure-as-code tooling (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).

Experience integrating automation workflows with monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus).

Ability to identify manual, repeatable operational tasks and convert them into automated workflows.

Could-Have / Nice-to-Have Requirements

Experience automating VMware provisioning and lifecycle tasks.

Experience operating in large-scale environments (2,000+ virtual servers).

Familiarity with branching strategies and pull-request-based code review workflows.
