SUPERVISORY PSYCHOLOGIST/SCIENTIST/PHYSIOLOGIST/ENGINEER/CHEMIST

You will lead research and engineering across disciplines to manage system requirements and technical risks, executing programs to ensure operational effectiveness within cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

You will serve as the primary lead systems integrator for aircrew/personnel aeromedical systems, working closely with PMA-202 in the development and fielding of these commodities.

You will plan work to be consistent with branch staffing, resources, priorities and objectives.

You will implement changes to staffing, objectives, and priorities as appropriate and ensure that Branch personnel have been properly trained to conduct Program Team business without routine review or delay by organizational supervisors and managers.

You will provide advice, counsel, or instruction to individual employees on both work and administrative matters and ensure that employees have adequate career development plans.

You will implement aeromedical expertise supporting engineering of Aircrew Health and Safety Systems to meet safety of flight considerations.

You will determine human tolerance to environmental conditions of military flight parameters and set limits/goals of performance.

You will provide strong leadership to administer management policies, coordinate functions between groups to accomplish goals, and ensure decisions prioritize customer financial stewardship and product delivery.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band (NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing overall management and technical direction of the assigned workforce, processes, and products; 2) Integrating interdisciplinary Human Systems principles to effectively guide employee development and meet customer demand signals; 3) Ensuring effective planning, development, and execution of programs; 4) Applying Aeromedical Research and Integration policies, processes, tools, and procedures to execute program requirements; 5) Evaluating factors impacting the safety and performance of humans in aerospace operations; and 6) Utilizing project management/coordination policies, processes, procedures, and responsibilities.
