Supervisory Program Manager

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Leading the formulation of recommendations and operationalizes approved governance structures to ensure consistent identification, assessment, and mitigation of supply chain risks across DoW components.

Translating executive and statutory mandates into actionable Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) frameworks. Exercising enterprise oversight over the DoW federated SCRM tool architecture, aligning capabilities to maintain technological and analytical superiority.

Exercising control and management of the SCRM budget, totaling approximately $80M across the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP). Formulating and executing the strategic vision for DoW-wide education and training on SCRM, ensuring a highly capable and informed workforce.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

You may qualify at the NH-04 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to: 1.) Brief high-level initiatives, risk assessments, and strategic plans to senior leadership. 2.) Identify and neutralize threats to critical acquisition programs and sustainment activities. 3.) Lead formulation of recommendations and operationalize approved governance structures to ensure consistent identification, assessment, and mitigation of supply chain risks.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
