PRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

You will be responsible for supervising subordinate supervisors and military personnel who perform project assignments for repair and maintenance of ships/submarines assigned to the detachment Guam.

You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates assigned to the Production Project Team.

You will give advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.

You will Initiate action to expedite and ensure the availability of special equipment, tooling, materials and outside manpower or services critical to the timely and quality completion of assigned jobs.

You will gather planning information on potential ship work assignments.

You will exercise position management responsibilities, assuring that subordinates job descriptions are current and accurate.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying principles, concepts, and practices related to shipyard work operations, control system requirements, trade and shop practices; analyzing, evaluating, and adjusting project resources, work operations equipment and facilities against current and future schedule work requirements; and coordinating work plans and working with a variety of different trades and technical processes.
