PROGRAM MANAGER (QUALITY ASSURANCE)

Serve as a Program Manager for the Force Health Protection Quality Assurance (FHPQA) Program.

Function as an expert in the development, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the FHPQA program, policies, and activities to evaluate, assess, and improve on program efficiency and effectiveness.

Review and interpret new and established directives, instructions, and regulations for potential impact on FHPQA, Health Readiness or Public Health objectives.

Support administrative and technical activities as well as responsible for advising leadership on ways to improve the quality and efficiency of other health readiness efforts.

Direct/guide multi-service/department senior level working groups. Formulates policies and procedures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting with developing health metrics, policy/procedures for force health protection or quality assurance procedures; reviewing directives, instructions and/or regulations related to force health protection or quality assurance; and advising leadership on requirements and ways to improve compliance for improving force health protection programs.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
