Supervisory Program Manager

Serve as Chief of the JBER Program Division and provide major recommendations which have a direct and substantial effect on the Alaska District's organization, resourcing, and the projects managed.

Supervise and manage a multidisciplinary team of program managers, engineers, construction professionals, and support staff performing professional, technical, and administrative work comparable to the GS-12 level or higher.

Provide executive level advisory support to USACE leadership on matters related to program execution, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies affecting the JBER Program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing the execution of major project segments or divisions within a large-scale military construction (MILCON) or infrastructure program, such as monitoring cost, schedule, performance, and risk metrics to ensure compliance with federal laws and agency policy; and 2) providing recommendations or technical briefings for senior management, executive leaders, or external military stakeholders.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
