Senior Production Supervisor / Machine Shop

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Coordinate all activities related to production and construction of fixtures, including new product introduction and process improvement.

This position is an M1 level (for internal use only)

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

Work as a team with all ArthroCare Corporation Departments to facilitate information flow within and outside the organization.

Maintain a pleasant work environment for all employees, seeking to maintain good motivation in each of them.

Follow all requirements stipulated in the ArthroCare Corp induction manual, safety manual, quality assurance manual, internal policies, US FDA Quality System Requirements, and any other required by the Corporation.

Evaluate risks that may arise in the area and recommend necessary modifications.

What will you need to be successful?

Education

Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering with an emphasis on industrial processes. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Intermediate Technician in Precision Mechanics. Preferred.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in CAD/CAM manufacturing systems.

Experience in modern manufacturing systems, especially precision mechanics, conventional and CNC. Minimum 5 years.

Proficiency in ASME/ANSI Y14.5M-2009 standard and GD&T.

Minimum 4 years experience in documentation, validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and good manufacturing practices, especially in the medical industry.

Minimum 4 years experience in personnel management.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, and Validations. Minimum 2 years.

Experience in developing production area capacity models.

Language

Spanish, English (Advanced fluent oral and written).
