AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION MANAGER

You will provide and train the resources required to accomplish the proposed work in relation to the resources committed to ongoing and previously scheduled work operations.

You will serve as the coordination point for identifying trade related training for their respective branch trade sets.

You will establishes goals and develops broad plans for production process improvements involved in the repair or manufacturing of aircraft, engines, and/or components.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) experience in aircraft, engine, or component production/maintenance environments; 2) demonstrated ability to plan, direct, and improve complex industrial production operations, 3) supervising subordinate supervisors across multiple trades, shifts, and shop functions, 4) strong knowledge of production scheduling, resource allocation, cost and labor management, safety and quality requirements, labor/employee relations, and continuous process improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and AIRSpeed, 5) strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and 6) the ability to coordinate across engineering, logistics, production, and contracting stakeholder.
