Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead and scale our Financials product category at Elite. This role is ideal for a strategic, customer-obsessed leader who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation.

As a GPM, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of multiple products that empower law firms to manage their financial operations ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance at scale. This category includes accounting, budgeting, invoicing, payments, and regulatory reporting.

You will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers (PMs), fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture that prioritizes outcomes over outputs. You’ll be responsible for defining clear roadmaps, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring our products meet both customer needs and business objectives.

As a key strategic partner to engineering, data science, UX design, sales, and marketing, you’ll drive alignment across the organization and secure buy-in for high-impact initiatives. You will also engage with customers and industry stakeholders to ensure our products address the unique challenges law firms face in managing financials.

You have a proven track record of managing complex product ecosystems, launching innovative solutions, and scaling high-growth products. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

Develop and drive a clear product strategy that aligns with business objectives and market opportunities.

Act as a strategic connector, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision to ensure sustainable product growth.

Analyze market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to identify new areas for innovation in data-driven legal tech.

Collaborate with executive leadership to define success metrics and ensure alignment across product initiatives.

Make data-driven decisions, ensuring that teams focus on the highest-impact work.

Product Execution & Operational Excellence

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from ideation to launch, ensuring they meet quality standards and deliver value.

Drive operational rigor through structured roadmaps, OKRs, and decision-making frameworks.

Ensure seamless integration of data products with other product areas and business functions.

Provide strategic guidance on backlog prioritization, product roadmaps, and execution, empowering PMs to take ownership.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success, adoption, and revenue impact.

Unblock teams by removing inefficiencies, optimizing workflows, and balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.

Cross-Functional Influence & Stakeholder Alignment

Act as a bridge between engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and data science, ensuring product success.

Secure executive buy-in for strategic initiatives, ensuring data products receive the necessary resources and support.

Work closely with sales and customer success teams to drive adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Advocate for data products in meetings and cross-functional discussions, ensuring alignment and visibility.

Clearly articulate product plans, progress, and results to internal teams and executive leadership.

Team Leadership & Culture Building

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Product Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Provide coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities to PMs, helping them grow in their roles.

Champion a transparent and psychologically safe environment, where teams can take risks, experiment, and innovate.

Act as a force multiplier by removing obstacles, setting clear expectations, and ensuring smooth team operations.

Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous learning, and experimentation.

Customer & Market Focus

Obsess over customer needs, leveraging data, research, and direct feedback to shape product direction.

Ensure teams build the right solutions, focusing on solving customer problems rather than chasing features.

Guide the team in data analysis and insights, refining features and improving user experiences based on real-world feedback.

Maintain a strong business acumen, understanding how product decisions impact revenue, retention, and scalability.

Agility & Change Leadership

Lead teams through uncertainty, ambiguity, and shifting priorities, maintaining clarity and focus.

Quickly adapt to changing market conditions and company goals while keeping teams aligned and motivated.

Drive continuous improvement by celebrating wins, learning from failures, and iterating on processes.

Other Responsibilities

​​Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.​

Qualifications

​​Bachelor's Degree​ in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA preferred.

​ ​ 6–8 years ​ years of experience in of product management experience, with at least 1-2 years leading and mentoring Product Managers and at least 3+ years managing a product category or portfolio.

Experience with financial controls, compliance tracking, and global reporting requirements for large enterprises.

Proven track record of owning and scaling complex products in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software, particularly in legal tech, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.

Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align product roadmaps with company goals.

Experience driving product vision, strategy, and execution while balancing short-term wins with long-term impact.

Exceptional cross-functional leadership, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and data science.

Preferred experience leveraging AI tools to drive product innovation and development.

Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer adoption, and revenue growth in product-led environments.
