The Role

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to build and grow standard Vault-to-Vault connections for Vault Medical. You will work closely with customers, sales, consulting, and engineering to construct a product definition, a solution map, and roadmap, and define detailed product specifications.

We’re looking for a self-starter that takes initiative with a natural ability to execute, adapt, and learn quickly when faced with ambiguity. You will work closely with a team of industry and technology A-players, who together are bringing to life the next generation of Veeva products to Medical Affairs.

What You'll Do

Be hands-on. Design, prototype, define, configure Vault-to-Vault connections and validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right order

Be agile. Design, implement, iterate

Be a storyteller. Author & design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates

Be an owner. Create and manage the roadmap for your product area, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Keep up with the latest Medical Affairs software and Life Sciences industry trends, and distill them into product requirements

Be a team player. Work with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build solutions that harmonize across Veeva applications

Take pride in your work with a passion for excellence

Requirements

2+ years of progressive experience in product management

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated expertise in design, product development, and strategic planning

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline

Must be based in a region in the Eastern Standard Time zone

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada

Nice to Have

Experience with data modeling (ERDs) and Lucidchart

Experience writing detailed user stories and managing a story backlog

Track record of effectively collaborating with engineering/QA to define, design, and deliver the product
