Pharmacist

Oversee the day to day operations of the various aspects of the Federal Ceiling Price Program.

Provide strategic and operational leadership for DHA Pharmacy Operations in the areas of policy, procurement, data analysis, and program management.

Draft federal statutes that are applicable to the DHA Pharmacy Benefits Program and the Military Health System.

Perform special projects for the Chief of the Pharmacy Operations Directorate.

Provide authoritative oversight of the Standard Discount and Additional Discount Programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Basic Requirement for Pharmacist: Education: A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirement above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0660 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before.

Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status. Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.

Medical Requirement: Must be able to distinguish basic colors Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience which includes providing input on the development of pharmacy policies; overseeing employee performance to achieve organization goals; and drafting various documents to brief senior leadership on program status.

This definition of experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
