Collibra is looking for a proven General Manager to create and execute the overall business strategy to achieve long-term profitable growth that outpaces competitors and peers.

Responsibilities include recruiting and leading a high-performing team that integrates sales, consulting services, support, legal, operations, marketing, product management, and product delivery. The General Manager will set the direction for the subsidiary to comply with government-required mandates such as CMMC.

The General Manager will identify untapped market areas and build plans to capture those opportunities.

Successful outcomes

Operate as a true GM leading sales, services, support that aligns parent-company dependencies into a single, accountable operating rhythm

Optimize post-sales execution by driving consistent deployments, adoption, and renewal readiness across Public Sector accounts

Manage overall expense to revenue targets

Spend the company’s money wisely to invest in new opportunities

Work closely with the parent to drive the overall Public Sector product roadmap and align any support needed from the shared services teams

Maintain positive evaluations from relevant government agencies such as DCSA

Characteristics

Demonstrated ability to manage directly and delegate effectively across all areas of responsibilities

Create a culture of trust and accountability within Collibra Public Sector

Know when to build consensus and when to maintain autonomy

Bold risk-taking based on deep understanding of complex data

Politically astute when dealing with diverse stakeholders and conflicting demands

Experience

Experience managing a complete public sector subsidiary within a larger organization

Extended positions with increasing levels of responsibilities within enterprise software companies

Successful execution of business transformations and realignments
