WHAT YOU'LL DO
Network Architecture & Design
Design, architect, and implement new network solutions across our global enterprise environment, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and security infrastructure.
Develop scalable network designs leveraging advanced routing protocols and ECMP (Equal-Cost Multi-Path) for optimal traffic distribution and redundancy.
Architect and deploy enterprise-grade load balancing solutions, applying methods such as round-robin, least-connections, and weighted distribution to optimize application delivery and availability.
Design and enforce firewall security policies, routing instances, and segmentation strategies across Juniper SRX platforms, ensuring a strong and consistent security posture.
Design and deploy enterprise WiFi solutions including RF planning, site surveys, and WLAN architecture.
Project Ownership & Execution
Own network engineering projects end-to-end — from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, and handoff to operations.
Establish and track project milestones and deliverables under a rigorous change management process.
Install and configure networking equipment and security systems for new office build-outs globally.
Lead vendor evaluations and manage vendor relationships for technology procurement and delivery.
Travel to global sites as needed to support infrastructure builds and major project deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Service Desk, Workplace Experience, Security, Development, Engineering, Project Managers, and vendors to deliver on time and within scope.
Monitoring, Observability & Security
Implement and optimize network monitoring using Elasticsearch for SNMP-based telemetry, providing visibility into device health, interface utilization, and performance trends.
Leverage SIEM platforms for Syslog aggregation, event correlation, and security alerting, contributing to the organization's overall security posture.
Report on infrastructure activity logs, performance, availability, operational metrics, alerts, and threats.
Conduct compliance audits and ensure network configurations align with security frameworks and organizational standards.
Lead post-mortems and root cause analyses for significant network incidents, implementing systemic improvements.
Automation & Innovation
Develop and implement automation strategies to reduce manual effort, increase reliability, and accelerate project delivery.
Champion infrastructure-as-code and network automation practices across the team.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standardize configurations, and enhance the overall network architecture.
Contribute regularly to documentation, design guides, and the Knowledge Base to enable team-wide knowledge sharing.
Operational Support
Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the Global IT Service Desk on complex wired and WiFi network issues.
Contribute to day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues alongside the broader infrastructure team.
Support routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades as part of the team's operational responsibilities.
